About Me

Erika Mae Martin is a freelance costume designer and Local 705 costumer. She graduated from Academy of Art University in 2019 with an MFA in Costume Design. In 2016, she graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a B.S. in Apparel Merchandising and Management and an option in Production, along with a minor in Theatre, specializing in Tech/Costume Design. Theatre credits include productions for the Cutting Ball Theatre and Custom Made Theatre in San Francisco, the Southern California Shakespeare Festival, Cal Poly Pomona, Cal State LA, UC Santa Cruz, and Academy of Art University. Erika creates art and also works in wardrobe styling for commercials and photoshoots in the Los Angeles area. Recent Works Include:

Assistant Costume Designer for the feature film Shit and Champagne, written and directed by D'Arcy Drollinger, co-owner of the San Francisco nightclub OASIS.

Co-Costume Designer with Paige Rogers for the production of “The Bald Soprano” at Cutting Ball Theater in downtown San Francisco.
